DUO AZZURRO Imperator Desktop Globe
Water covers 71 percent of our planet. The Pacific Ocean is larger than the area of all continents taken together. Actually, our planet should be called Water instead of Earth. The DUO AZZURRO immerses itself in the beauty of the oceans. Non-illuminated, one sinks into the deep blue of the seas, and the continents' radiant blue shading creates accentuations. Illuminated, the globe reveals the sight of the oceans' entire ground structure: Depths, sea basins, volcanoes, and seamounts as high as the Alps. Honored with the Book Award of the travel fair ITB 2016, the AZZURRO offers depth in the literal sense.
The steadfast detail: A globe needs firm support to develop its full
appeal. With the Imperator base design, the table model rests on a matte stainless steel foot and rotates in a round stainless steel meridian. Elegant detail: The concealed cable duct.
